Our server was nice & the food came out prompt & hot. The sauce on the paella was really good & even the water was good! A must visit

Had a great experience at this restaurant! The staff was on top of it and the atmosphere is second to none. I was blown away that it had a patio on the lake and I can't wait to come back to try dinner with my wife. The Cuban Sandwhich was good, the flavors were spot on but there was a small portion of meat in it. One side of the sandwhich was mostly bread and pickles with a little meat, the other had a good portion of meat. It was a good sandwhich so I'll order it again, i'll just ask for extra meat, lol.

Legit, best food I've eaten in a very long time!! The seafood was so fresh and delicious! All the flavors were so phenomenal!! Everyone absolutely loved their meals; no notes. Also, the drinks were on point (mojitos and a beer). Service was attentive and speedy. The atmosphere was lovely. We sat outside a few hours before sunset. Amazing view on the water. A few baby dragon flies, but the bugs were minimal for NC standards. My in-laws moved down here over a year ago and have always said they haven't found a good place to eat out - everything in the area is OK at best. That changed tonight!! I had the absolute pleasure of celebrating my 17th birthday at Havana 33. Let me tell you, this place delivered. I’ve never tried Cuban food before. If this is what authentic Cuban cuisine taste like, I’ve been missing out my whole life. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, warm, attentive, and quick. The staff made me feel celebrated, cared for, and the atmosphere was the perfect mix of relaxation (excellent view of Lake Norman) and vibrant Cuban music. Now the food… absolutely delicious in the best way possible! Every bite was bursting with flavor, rich, soulful, and clearly made with care and tradition. You could truly taste the authenticity in every bite. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, they brought out their house-made vanilla ice cream for my birthday. WOW. It was light, silky, and perfectly sweet. Hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. The ice ooo cream alone deserves its own five stars! I left full, happy, and genuinely impressed. Havana 33 didn’t just serve great food, they delivered a great experience. If you’re new to Cuban cuisine, this is the perfect place to fall in love with it. Can’t wait to come back. Went there last week and ordered the crispy pork… outrageously delicious. Truly one of the best meals I’ve ever had. In the past I’ve gotten the Cuban Sandwich which is very good. The service and the cocktails were also great. Highly recommend.

Second Time's the Charm at Havana 33! I simply had to write a five-star review for Havana 33 after my second, and equally fantastic, visit! This place is hands down the best Cuban food around the Charlotte area—it's truly spectacular. The food is absolutely amazing. I ordered the Masa Frita, and it was perfectly seasoned and tender. My daughter, Aria, got the Ropa Vieja, which she devoured, confirming the kitchen's mastery of the Cuban classics. Every bite was an explosion of authentic flavor. To complement the meal, I tried the Old Cuban cocktail, and it was delicious—a perfect blend of ingredients that was refreshing and potent. Now, a small note: the service can, at times, be a little slow, but please do not let this deter you! I highly recommend you just order the Cuban Sandwich Egg Rolls (a must-try appetizer!) and a drink as soon as you sit down, and the entire experience will be 100% worth the wait. Havana 33 offers fantastic Cuban cuisine that will transport you to the streets of Havana. We will absolutely be back!

I just wanted to be known, as a native South Floridian I've had the pleasure of experiencing many Cuban restaurants all over South Florida and by far hands down this is the greatest restaurant I've been to. My meal the food the beans were amazing and to have such a fusion of flavor and seasoning in the food. Hands down top down greatest Cuban restaurant Ever. I'm even tempted to lick the plate like a madman. And the service is so nice and courteous and you can see the effort and training just exuded from them
